Ian Leeding
Managing Director, Samsic UK

Throughout his 30-year career in the soft facilities sector, Ian has led both Sales and Operations teams for major brands like OCS, Johnson, Churchill and Chubb Fire. He brings a high level of expertise in driving consistent performance and organic growth through developing strong customer relationships, skilled and motivated teams, and efficient processes.

Ian joined Samsic UK in 2013 as Managing Director of Operations in our London, South and South-West regions, progressing to UK Operations Director in 2015, appointed Samsic UK’s Chief Operating Officer in 2019, and Managing Director for Samsic UK in 2022.

Andrew Safo-Poku Jnr
HR Director

Andrew Safo-Poku Jnr serves as HR Director, bringing a wealth of HR experience to the team. As HR Director, he oversees the company’s HR strategic initiatives and service management efforts. Prior to joining Samsic, he has worked and managed the Human Resources function in mid-size companies in industries including hospitality and soft service sectors.

He has notable experience in strategic human resource planning, change management, employee benefits performance management, recruitment, employment contract negotiations, compensation, policy implementation, management coaching, training, and development.

Andrew has a BA in Human Resources Management and Business/Marketing Management with honours.

Baldip Brreach
Finance Director

As Financial Director, Bal is responsible for overseeing the finance, Payroll and IT departments, as well as Fleet Management and Building Fabric. She brings to the Samsic team her considerable skill in Financial Strategy and Improving Efficiency, specifically though process improvement.

Bal’s career in accountancy began back on her father’s market stall, where she took control of the finances. After catching the bug for bookkeeping in the family business. Bal went on to study accountancy and Finance at Wolverhampton university. After completing her degree, and her ACCA, she then served 5 years at an accountancy firm in Cannock. In 2011, after this solid grounding in accountancy, she moved to Regent Samsic as Finance Controller.

In her position as Finance Controller, she grew her expertise in the operational side of the business, and implemented a number of improvements to help support the needs of the operation, including introducing the Templa CRM system.

In 2016, Bal was promoted to FD, becoming the youngest board member at just 31. Now, her focus is the team. Her passion is people development, and having begun her career in the family business, those values are now in her blood – she believes in encouraging growth from her team, helping them to flourish and giving them ownership of their areas.

Gary Seaton
Sales & Marketing Director

Formerly Sales & Marketing Director for Citron Hygiene UK, Gary has joined leadership team to propel Samsic into a new era as we strengthen our commitment to building healthy workspaces.

Gary’s experience lies predominately in hygiene and specialist waste services, where his extensive leadership skills have enabled substantial growth in national and international businesses.

Andrew Hallam
Security Director

Andrew has over 33 years security and facilities management experience, incorporating a wealth of strategic and solution design expertise. He is accountable for all Employee and Customer Engagement outcomes as well as providing strategic oversight of service delivery and Operational Excellence here at Samsic UK.

Andrew is responsible for overseeing the UK security division within Samsic UK to ensure that the business delivers the best possible service to customers, whilst exploring opportunities to increase the company’s value-chain and continual improvement initiatives.

Andrew has notable experience is designing security solutions for customers in both the Public and Private sector, which reduce risk and increase resilience.

John Conry
Managing Director, JPC by Samsic

As Managing Director of JPC by Samsic, John strategically manages service delivery and compliance of JPC by Samsic with an annual turnover in excess of £20 million.

John has over 22 years’ experience in the Facilities Management Industry, bringing a wealth of experience and strategic thinking to the business. He is responsible for providing strategic oversight to a considerable portfolio of single and multi-site contracts across a range of sector and industries.

His role ensures the delivery of high-quality client service through regular contact with clients, evaluating service quality and ensuring JPC by Samsic maintains a consistent focus on delivering high quality client services.

Andrew Bryan
Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality (SHEQ) Director

Andrew has over 25 years’ experience in SHEQ related Senior Management roles, from a variety of business sectors including, FMCG, Retail, Facilities, Logistics, Manufacturing and Surface Engineering. He is responsible for providing Samsic UK’s strategic approach to ensuring compliance with UK Legislation, integration and embedding our approach within our ISO.9001, ISO.14001 & ISO.45001 Management systems.

Andrew has a wealth of experience in the Principles of SHEQ Management, which has resulted in Samsic UK developing a positive culture of continuous improvement, increased efficiency, reduction in wastage.

He has notable Health, Safety & Welfare experience, Risk Mitigation models, chemical safety protocols, safety management development programs, workforce engagement initiatives, establishing effective communication systems and management structures, auditing, legislation compliance and safe working models. His role also has focus on Samsic UK’s Environmental & CSR strategy by embedding and developing our 4 pillars and 12 commitments to CSR throughout the business culture. Along with a wealth of Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality qualifications and experience, Andrew is also a qualified Six-Sigma Green Belt project manager.

Dawn Howkins
Operations Director

Dawn brings to our business over 22 years of experience in the facilities management sector, overseeing operations at Hertfordshire County Council, Churchill Group and more.

Since joining Samsic UK as Divisional Manager in 2014, Dawn has driven the performance and development of our teams in London and Hertfordshire, while also caretaking operations for the Midlands, Wales & South West and South regions.

Under her leadership, our customers have benefited from outstanding growth in service delivery, strategy, innovation, compliance, and cost savings.

Dawn’s specialisms include time-critical process management, contract mobilisation and transformation of site teams.
