Sensors are placed on furniture, doors, in washrooms and all other trafficked areas to monitor usage and allow cleaning teams to be deployed where they are needed the most.
Monday: The cleaning schedule visible: The data shows five clear spikes in door openings over the course of the day. Outside of these spikes, the washrooms are used a total of four times. This shows a clear pattern of unnecessary cleaning with these timings.
Tuesday: Lower usage: Tuesday shows fewer openings, but a similar pattern – spikes at 9am, 12pm, 4pm and 7.30pm. Outside of these times, less than ten people use the washrooms during the day. This enables JPC by Samsic to flex the cleaning schedule to match these exact timings and the real-time demand of the estate/building.
