Our CSR strategy, an organizational cornerstone
We believe that it is our responsibility to help build a better, more inclusive and sustainable world.
Our CSR policy, initiated in 2005 by our support for the Global Compact Principles, has been reinforced with the inclusion of Sustainable Development Goals in our activities. Because our ambition is to achieve growth and progress for all our stakeholders, our Corporate Social Responsibility policy is based on 4 pillars:
Providing a responsible and innovative service
Samsic enhances and optimises workplaces and residential facilities by delivering effective and lasting solutions that integrate issues of performance, well-being at work and flexibility. We offer connected smart services that are in line with our customers’ quality and agility requirements and the new modes of collaborative and shared work.
Our Responsible Purchasing policy is integral to our aim to develop sustainable partnerships with all our suppliers. We constantly seek to promote our CSR values and commitments throughout the supply chain.
Protecting our environment
Our sustainable development goals include taking action to combat climate change and participating in building sustainable cities and communities. We are committed to protecting the environment, and we make every effort to reduce our carbon footprint and engage in sustainable business practices.
OUR GREEN SOLUTIONS
We support the ecological transition of our customers by providing more eco-responsible products and services. We do this by improving our methods and equipment, choosing eco-labelled products and training our employees. By getting our entire value chain involved, we can provide a total green solution.
Developing a supportive and sustainable community
We want to take care of the world around us and have a positive impact on communities by supporting and developing citizen initiatives and solidarity projects that meet the needs of populations and our society.
We are proud to have selected Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity as our 2020 corporate charity partner.
Over the course of the year, staff members will be taking part in a number of challenges and activities to raise money for the Rainbow Trust, who support families who have a child with a life-threatening illness to make the most of time together; providing expert practical advice and support.
Valuing our resources and developing our talents
We want our whole team to be happy, motivated and fully trained, so they can work to their maximum potential. That’s why our staff are given the highest quality training. Our training academy continues to be accredited as an assessment centre by BICSc for the Cleaning Professionals Skills Suite. In 2013 the academy was awarded the BICSc Highly Commended for Excellence in Training and Assessment within an Accredited Training Organisation (In-House).
We offer apprenticeships, further education and qualifications to all our staff, helping them to develop their talents and reach their goals.
